A Chefs Dream Gift- Sorella Spices

We received the mentioned products in exchange for an honest review. The thoughts contained within this post are ours and may vary from the thoughts of others.

Recently we received a gift box set of spices from Sorella Spices. I have to say that the presentation as shown in the photo was perfect because I could just wrap that and give it as is, but I had to try them myself.

The first meal we made was just a basic spaghetti and meatballs. Of course I used the Italian Blend but I decided to see how this fared totally alone with the jar of store bought sauce (the horror I didn’t have any homemade sauce that day!) My boys ate until I thought they would explode. This is now my go-to blend for Italian because I will say they are all spoiled and a little picky when it comes to flavor. We love a good robust Italian flavor.

Next up on the list of things to make we used the Butcher’s Blend and made cheeseburgers.

My husband swore he could smell the burgers from the driveway because I had the kitchen fan on while cooking. These were some of the best tasting burgers we had ever made indoors. I am such a grill or Blackstone kinda girl when it comes to making burgers but it’s cold and I needed to cook inside. We put some American cheese on top, served with fries and this beat any restaurant anywhere!

Finally, we decided to use the Everyday Blend to bread and fry some venison. I know that isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but we like it and decided to use this blend as I didn’t buy any pre-seasoned flour. Our youngest son helped with this task or cracking the eggs and mixing this blend into the AP flour. Oh my goodness it was delicious. We paired with some mashed potatoes and peas and had an entire feast.

Some other ideas I have are using the Veggie Blend to create a dip for our Christmas Eve feast and the Fiesta for upcoming Taco Tuesday. Trying each of these has been nothing short of a pleasure and we appreciate Sorella Spices so much for allowing us to try these out. Go grab yours today- Giftable or even a treat for yourself!
