About Angels & Tomboys: After being bored senseless with our body care products, we had this cool idea to make everyday products that girls use fun. We came up with fun names, characters and unique fragrances for these products and pitched the idea to our mom. She loved it and the rest is history in the making. Our mom named the company Angels and Tomboys as a reflection of our unique and complex personalities and interests. We’re just like every girl in the world because ALL girls are created equally different. Plus, we  can all agree that every Angel has a bit of Tomboy in her.

What We Thought: I love trying new products, especially those that are unique in the beauty industry. Angels & Tomboys was a company I had never heard of until recently. I knew that there were so many young girls in my life who could benefit from knowing that “all girls are created equally different” as the companies motto says. I was fortunate enough to be able to try 2 different products from their line.

I will talk about the Peanut Butter Jelly Time Lotion first. When I opened the box and saw this product I was really excited. I knew this was a unique scent to a body product and wanted to try it out immediately, which is exactly what I did. I have to say that while I never thought I would want to smell like peanut butter and jelly, this was refreshing to say the least. Another cute little perk is that there is a hint of purple glitter in this lotion. It is not over powering by any means and it added just enough bling to the skin. The lotion made my hands soft, which is a hard task to complete and I know this would be suitable for any tween/teen. I love that this is a shea butter product and will be great for delicate skin. This Peanut Butter Jelly Time Lotion retails for $12.

Next I got to review the Deep Fried Ice Cream Body Spray. Again a unique scent provided to us by Angels & Tomboys! I love that this is a light vanilla scent. Girls of all ages love to smell good and this is a great starter scent for the young lady in your life. This scent goes on smoothly, does not sour after being worn for awhile and I have to say even as an adult I really enjoy this scent.  The body spray also retails for $12 making this a great stocking stuffer idea for the upcoming Christmas holidays or an overall great anytime gift.

I love that these products are made with natural ingredients and they are not tested on animals. Another perk is they are made right here in the U.S.A.
