Back to school time is upon us. That means for many the routines of packing lunches, laying out clothing and homework begin. In our home things are pretty much the same year round. We do homeschool and honestly schooling takes place in some capacity all year long. Our boys are constantly involved in a learning activity and while our traditional schooling times are much like other school systems, many things are quite different.

Many people ask us since we homeschool if we go school supply and clothes shopping. That answer is simple: yes. We shop seasonally for clothing obviously because the boys are growing like weeds, but we do make it a point to do the traditional back to school shopping where they get new shoes, a backpack if needed and of course new school supplies. That was always a favorite time of year for me and I especially loved picking out new clothing.
