Cookies and milk.  A forever favorite , not just for kids and something that can turn a really bad day into complete irrelevancy.  It does not get any better than that!  Or does it ……. ?     YES , it does !   When you replace your every day cookies with Bart’s World Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies!   

When you have a product like Bart’s Cookies,  it does not take long for word to get out and soon a joke in college turns into a money making business doing something you love!   When Bart was in college, he thought it would be funny to throw it in his momma’s face that not only could he eat what he wanted, but he could have cookies for dinner!  So he got everything to make them, pigged out and then called his mom to tell her !  Haha.  Awesome.

After that,  word of these amazing cookies spread and soon not only was he making them for friends and family, but he was also “bribing” his clients and business associates with them.  After all,  who wouldn’t do ANYTHING for chocolate, especially ooey gooey baked inside of the best cookie ever!

Key points and the main reasons why we LOVE these cookies : 

The size –   Bart’s Cookies are,  I swear , about 2 inches thick,  he makes them in a smaller and larger size but the thickness stays the same.

The chocolate chips-  The biggest chocolate chips I have ever seen.  The chocolate seems to be a really good quality and is so creamy.

The cookie recipe-  Bart has mastered the recipe to cater to both the soft and crunchy cookie lover.  The outer of the cookie is crunchy and has that delicious crunchy cookie flavor,  those of you who favor that type of cookie know exactly what I mean!  The middle, however is soft, moist and over flowing with chocolate!

Just the right amount–   Sometimes even the biggest chocolate lover has their limits.  The above picture might not appeal to everyone so I wanted to mention this :  for the most part Bart’s cookies are consistent, but I did notice that not all of the cookies were as loaded with chocolate as the above.  This is not a bad thing. It was nice to have a really decadent, bite of chocolate heaven and then have the next cookie be a little less so.

The story-  I enjoyed reading Bart’s story and it made me laugh, as have all of our email correspondences!  Bart has a great personality and has come a long way since college.  If you have time please read about his journey here at About Bart Meet The Cookie Man. 

My husband is a HUGE cookies and milk guy , just like a little kid.  If I had let him, he would have at every last cookie that Bart sent us within 15 minutes after opening them.  About 2 years ago I taught him my recipe for chocolate chip cookies and he made them so many times he had it memorized in no time at all.  It is the only thing that he can go into the store and remember everything for.  It is that kind of passion and love that makes something a great success, such as Bart has!
