Beanfield’s All Natural Bean & Rice Chips Product Review

Beanfield’s All Natural Bean & Rice Chips Product Review

Beanfield’s is a family owned company that produces all natural chips made from beans and rice, farmed in the USA.   The chip resembles a tortilla chip, but holds more nutritional value.  By combining beans with rice they have created a healthy snack packed full of protein and fiber without sacrificing taste. They are gluten-free, cholesterol-free, trans fat-free, preservative-free and free of every one of the FDA’s eight most common ingredients that trigger food allergies.

I personally am a huge fan of beans and rice and eating them together in any way I can, so I was so excited to try these chips.  I stopped eating regular potato chips YEARSSSS  ago and I have been eating all natural corn tortilla chips.  Though they are healthier than your typical greasy potato chip,  they are no where near as healthy as the Beanfield’s Chips. If the thought of a bean and rice chip scares you a little,  do not be !   These have such an unbelievable crunch and flavor that you will not be disappointed. The chip does not have a strong bean flavor, rather to me they taste more roasted.

Shown in the picture above are the following flavors:

Nacho , Unsalted, Sea Salt, Salt & Pepper, Pico De Gallo

with 2 Snack Size single bags

The Nacho is my absolute favorite.  They are better flavored than the “popular” nacho cheese chip.  There is more of a crunch and because of the ingredients I felt full after eating a handful , rather than the whole bag.  Real, healthy hearty ingredients,  not a chip full of empty calories.   The Pico De Gallo was my second favorite, it is almost like eating the chips with the salsa all in one.

My daughters loved all flavors and actually, though I thought she would prefer the Nacho, my youngest loves the Sea Salt.  We used the Unsalted crushed up , ground fine as a coating for boneless chicken that I seasoned with some Spanish essence.  It came out SO crunchy and juicy, delicious!

Everyone in my family agrees that these chips will be the kind that I buy from now on. The girls have been packing them in their school lunches and sharing with the kids at school and friends.  Everyone is surprised to hear that the chips are made from beans and rice.  High five Beanfield’s

Look at that ingredients list ..    Black Beans, Navy Beans, Long Grain Rice, Safflower or Sunflower Oil, Sea Salt. It does not get any better than that.  Notice that there is 4 grams of fiber per serving of which 3 grams is  insoluble fiber .  This is something you do not see very often.  I buy a lot of whole wheat and high fiber products and I checked them all,  not one has insoluble fiber.
