Body Image & Why it Matters

Body Image & Why it Matters

Having a positive body image is something that so many people put little effort into. Looking into a full length mirror is often one of the hardest things for so many folks, especially women. We all want to look great and also importantly we want to feel great as well.

Often women are confronted with bullies both in the real world and online. Recently I read a post by a fellow blogger who has written about her weight loss journey and in the same day was told she was not only too skinny, but that she was too fat. Everyone has an opinion obviously, but sometimes those opinions need to be kept away from the keyboard. Body image for many women has been severely altered by the internet where everyone is photoshopped, face brightened, filtered and everything in between.

In real life many women have desires to look differently and some need operations that change their body image due to medical issues especially when surrounding the breast area. Many women desire to have larger breasts, so they head to their nearest plastic surgeon. Little do many of them know that this surgery is quite painful and often leaves scars that obviously last a lifetime causing more body image concerns.

In doing some research online I have found this amazing method of breast surgery called Bellesoma Method that seems a lot less invasive than other methods of breast surgery. I am all about research and like many women I will never commit to this type of surgery I was curious to see what it entailed. This method uses more technology than many others and is really a great concept. It uses software technology and techniques that limits scarring. Sounds like a great idea to me. They can do lift surgery without adding implants and also implement a method to reduce breast size for those who have back, shoulder and neck issues.

The Bellesoma Method seems quite revolutionary to me, and is gaining popularity due to it being less invasive than other methods.

Whether you are looking to change how you look by surgery or you are like me and just working on the little things at home like self care and making sure to put yourself first more often (hard to do when you are living the mom life, I know) please in 2018 make sure to take time to love you. If you are feeling loved by yourself, you will be able to love others in a way you never thought possible.
