At Build-A-Bear Workshop®, our mission is to bring the Teddy Bear to life. I remember so many years ago when I first heard about Build-A-Bear Workshop and saw their shop in the Mall.  The bright colors, big displays and friendly staff standing at the doorway,  you could not help but go in and check them out.  My daughter was almost 3 when we first went into a Build-A-Bear shop.  I will never forget the look on her face.  To try explain to her that she could MAKE her own stuffy to bring home was so funny, she was amazed.  I too, was amazed, when we started the process and atthe reality of just how much personalizing and building we could with this bear.

As the girls grew up we watched Build-A-Bear grow with each trip to the Mall.  They added parties, more animals, more accessories and before we knew it they launched their online workshop!  A year or so ago, I even purchased a kit from a department store as a gift for Christmas.  The kit came with everything we needed to build our bear at home.  How much they have grown!

Build-A-Bear just recently released their new Valentine’s Day  line, they are cute as ever and not just Bears either!  There are frogs, dogs, Hello Kitty, Sock Monkey, ladybugs and a ton of accessories!  They are sold either fully accessorized or bare for you to dress them up yourself and come in different sizes.

We received the Heart Fairy Hugs-A-Plenty Puppy and Heart Warming Love Hello Kitty to review.  I was surprised at how quickly they shipped and arrived!  We opened the door and could not believe the size of the box they came in.  Each Build-A-Bear comes in its own cute little Build-A-Bear ‘house”.

The girls were just as shocked as we were when they opened them.  These are HUGE!  The Hello Kitty is 18″ and the Puppy 15″.  Hello Kitty came adorned with her little heart shaped purse, dress, hair bow and even wearing a pair of real (hard plastic, not fabric) dress shoes!   The Puppy is accessorized with Fairy Wings, a pretty dress with tutu and a bone. Each comes with a birth certificate and registration number.  Build-A-Bear even offers a Find-A-Bear ID program, so if you ever lose yours be sure to check out their website.
