Build Creativity & Curiosity With Kiwi Crate – Product Review
About Kiwi Crate: Kiwi Crate was built out of a passion for hands-on fun that encourages creativity and curiosity in children. I had a deep appreciation for these projects, but often found that my greatest intentions fell short. It was tough to find the time to come up with engaging hands-on activities, let alone get the materials.
So, as I started to develop creative projects with my kids, I thought, “why not share them with friends, who are also busy?” At playdates, the kids had a bunch of fun, and the parents appreciated having all of the materials and inspiration for the projects provided. Several parents mentioned, “I wish I could do this at home with my kids!”
Kiwi Crate was created to fulfill that wish and to celebrate kids’ natural creativity and curiosity. We want to make it fun, easy, and delightful to spend time building, exploring and creating together. Since its inception, the Kiwi Crate team has grown. We’ve added creative parents who dream up the projects, valued experts who review them, and a community of kid testers who keeps us on our toes and ensures the projects are fun and engaging.
Kiwi Crate sent me a box to try for the purpose of this review. As always, our opinions are genuine and our own.
What we received: Inside the “crate” was so many different things I was thinking where do I start first! My kids just about went crazy knowing it was all for them. Needless to say we were very excited to check everything out.
Included in my box were the following:
They sent me two of almost everything for my two older kids so they could both enjoy all the neat little crafts and activities. Here is a basic list of what was inside though as you can see there were tons of little goodies. A lot of things were supplies needed for the craft and activity inside.
An explore magazine that had lots of little crafts we could do with instructions and any supplies needed. I really liked this and we will be trying out all of the little crafts over time. It also had a bonus passport game so I was able to cut out a passport for each of them and they were super excited about that as well.
My world Flags: This was a flag crafting activity which my kids had a blast creating. They each got to make their own flags and we put them on the string included and hung them up. They were both so proud of what they made and loved showing it off.
My World Map: This was a huge world map with a bingo type game. We sat and played this for hours and since then they have wanted to play this everyday. It was a lot of fun and made them feel like we were really getting to travel the world. They also learned lots of neat facts about different places. I really like how they got to learn while having fun at the same time.
What we thought: I really liked this box. I am always wanting to do more crafts with my kids and always wish I had a great rainy day project or game to play and this was just the perfect thing. They do all the work for you so you can just learn and play with your kid(s). My kids were so excited to check everything out and that they had gotten something just for them.
Value: You can get Kiwi Crate for $19.95 a month with free shipping in the U.S. They also have different subscription options and even have an add on for siblings for just $9.95 a month so if you have two kids they won’t have to share! I think the price is more than worth what you are getting. With all the work done for you all you have to do is sit back and wait for it to arrive and then have fun. They send neat little crafts and activities for you to do with your kids and supply everything you will need.
If you are looking for something new and fun to do with your kids you should go on over to kiwicrate.com and check it out!
