Canyon 2100 Backpack and Dry Bag Combo By TETON Sports Product Review
I had the pleasure to review another amazing product from TETON Sports! Â I received the following item free for the purpose of this review, regardless my opinions are always honest and I post about my own personal experience.
Canyon 2100 Backpack and Dry Bag Combo By TETON Sports
This is a great backpack for our family. We spend a lot of time camping and hiking and wouldn’t you know it, we always run into rain! We have hiked all over New Hampshire and Maine, beginner to intermediate trails. I love how much my daughters appreciate the outdoors and nature. Their biggest accomplishment was when they were 6 and 13 and climbing Table Rock in Dixville Notch, NH. It is SO high up and I am so scared of heights that I am not going to lie, I cried and freaked out a little when my youngest waltzed right out on the ledge. I was having a heart attack. Â The views were amazing and it was the best hike I have been on. Â It is a must do if you visit that area!
(My babies were exhausted!)
Ok, moving on the Canyon 2100! Â What caught my attention with this pack is the dry bag that comes with it. Â The dry bag is fairly large, but folds up nicely inside this pack. Â It is 20 liters, waterproof and has it’s own carry handle. The bright yellow color makes it easy to spot in case you stop along the way, sit it down and forget or god forbid lose it off the side of a mountain.
Â
As the picture above shows, Â there are quite a few features to this backpack other than the dry bag. Â This backpack will hold everything you need to just load it up and take off on a hike and camp over night ! Â There are numerous pockets and compartments , so many that I could not keep track while we were going through the pack. Â TETON has thought of everything with this one. Â There is separate place for you to put your sleeping bag, straps to hold your tent, places for rope and other climbing gear and even loops built in for an ice axe. Â I like the pockets on the side, they are pretty roomy and easily accessible.
The other feature I really like is that this Canyon 2100 Backpack takes a water bladder like their Oasis 1100 Backpack. Â The bladder is held in it’s own compartment that is lined with waterproof material in case an accident was to occur, puncture etc. Â The tube runs along the side and comes out of the backpack at a convenient location making it easy to get a drink while hiking, climbing and even hands free. Â The video below is great for more information about the water bladder.
The Canyon 2100 is lightweight, has cushioned shoulder straps and side/waist straps with a cushioned back. Â The design is ideal for long term hiking and climbing convenience and comfort. There are clips on the strap adjusters that allow you to tuck the excess strap in so that it is not hanging down or in the way. Â You can also see from the picture below right, the zippers are huge. They are very heavy duty compared to the average zipper. Â The last thing you want when you are hanging from the side of a rock cliff is for your backpacks zipper to break and spill open! I also really like the rust orange color !
The pack even has drain holes that will allow water to drain faster and dry your pack quicker should it happen to get soaked or submerged in water !   For more information about the Canyon 2100 Backpack or any of  TETON Sports other great products please visit their website.   There you will find a selection of sleeping bags, tents, cots, backpacks and more.

I will be featuring TETON Sports in my Spring Giveaway Event that starts on April 1st. Â So be on the look out !

We just started looking at packs for my two teenagers since we are headed into hiking season and have decided to take on some more challenging hikes with them. It’s so hard to choose them in the store though since they feel a lot different once they are loaded up and you’ve been hiking a few miles. Thanks for your input on this one!
