DIY Done Right with Black + Decker Books
We received the mentioned products in exchange for an honest review. The thoughts contained within this post are ours and may vary from the thoughts of others.
If you guys remember a few weeks ago we were knee deep in a bathroom remodel. This project was sent straight from the depths of the most evil place known. Every corner we turned there were things that had to be fixed, there were plumbing issues, lighting issues, wall issues, floor issues. You get the point…. this room was a disaster.
I am thankful that we were surrounded by people willing to help and who made the process less stressful for work, but financially it was a huge hit to our wallets. It was unbelievable to see the money just going out as quick as we could get our hands on it and I felt like I was moving in to our local supply store. I was literally there every day for a week. They were starting to know me.
We were fortunate to have a book about plumbing to help which was great especially since my husband is great with that trade, but sometimes we all need a little boost. The Black + Decker Complete Guide to Plumbing was a miracle book. It had everything we needed to know, but then again so did the Black + Decker Codes for Homeowners.
These two books as well as others that we received (further review to come on those!!) changed the game in that bathroom remodel. We were able to know exactly what worked by code but also learn some tricks of the trade for plumbing that we didn’t know beforehand.
