One of the goals of 2019 in my house and many others is to get back into journaling. I love that Ellie Claire offers such a wide variety of devotional style journals. These journals work great with a range of mediums including my very favorite gel pens!
Each book comes with its own special meaning including the covers which are brilliant artwork that can match any personality or need.
Check out our thoughts about each book starting with contributor Ashleigh who reviewed the Peace Begins with Me 365 Day Devotional Journal which can be purchased at the following places: Amazon and Barnes & Noble
This book is beautifully bound and brilliantly colored. It begs to be opened. Admittedly, I’ve never been very good at properly completing a daily devotional. I tend to skip ahead, jump around and some days I’ll do several
days at once. I can’t help myself! The Peace Begins with Me devotional reads well for those who prefer to follow along with the calendar and for folks like me who prefer to skip around as we are felt led.
Each page includes a date at the top of the page followed by the daily bible verse. The translations used throughout the devotional vary. The Bible verse is followed by a brief commentary that encourages the reader to reflect on the verse and how it pertains to your day to day life. Below the commentary is a spot for the reader to reflect on the day’s reading. This would be an ideal devotional for either a new or a more seasoned believer.
For myself (Samantha) I grabbed 2 of these devotionals and I am blown away by the quality and styles.
I have to have something to keep me accountable when it comes to devotionals and keeping up with things from day to day. I rely on my daily planner and while I have had devotionals in the past they were not done day to day and I struggled with staying on track. The ones that sit on a desk are just not for me and these are great quality devotionals that have beautiful covers and great contents inside.
Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus 365 Devotional Journal is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble and is priced very reasonably. The artwork on this book is a beautiful floral design suited for any woman in your life looking to branch out when it comes to both journaling and devotionals. The pages in all of these books are made to last the entire year.
The Earth is the Lord’s and Everything In It 365 Devotional Journal features beautiful peacocks. They are my absolute favorite bird! This journal stood out to me from the minute I saw it because of the artwork but also the contents. I love that just like the others mentioned in this post it is also available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble too.
Grab your pens and hold on tight because 2019 is set to be an amazing year for so many of us and with these devotionals to get us started off on the very first day we are set to develop into more Godly people as well as branch out in our own personal journaling.
