Enrich Your Child’s Creative Mind With Rich Art Color- Product Review
Rich Art is a small U.S.-based company that was founded in 1926. Since then, we’ve been making incredibly vibrant, creativity-sparking washable paints, markers and decorative glues that ignite kids’ imaginations and help to make all sorts of masterpieces fun and different.
I remember using this brand of paints a long time ago in my art classes! It is nice to see a U.S based company producing products for such a long time. The Rich Art product line is approved by the Arts & Creative Materials Institute as being certified non toxic and safe for humans and the environment. These are products that you can honestly feel good about your child using.
We received a selection of glow in the dark glue, washable paints and glitter paint to review. My daughter loves anything glitter as do most little girls! We had some cardboard circles lying around the house that I was going to send to her school’s art room, but we decided to use them for a project with the Rich Art paint. We painted the circles, let them dry then fashioned then into mobiles for her room. Pictured above.
About the paint
I really like that these paints are so easily washable. It makes for a huge relief when you are stuck indoors to do your art projects. During nice weather we usually take our arts and crafts outdoors. We live in a new home and I worry about every little thing, so knowing if drops of paint hit the floor and will wipe right off is a huge plus!
The paints are a nice consistency and come in a squeezable bottle so getting out every last drop is easy. We usually squirt our paint onto a paper plate to use as a palate and they did not run all together. They are bright and vibrant colors that cover well. The washable paints come in the standard red, blue, yellow, green, black and white. We were able to mix colors to create pinks, purples and browns. The glow in the dark glue is fantastic, it is light colored so you can see it as you use it, but it dries clear and then glows bright in the dark. Glow in the dark glue comes in pink, green and orange.
The Bottom Line
I think the Rich Art products are great for the price and quality. I love that they provide a huge selection of colors and kinds of paint in both washable and non washable. Check out the metallic paint line, I have not tried it but they look really cool! I also really want to get the Neon Colors Washable Paint line, neon is back like in the 80’s!
Where to buy
Rich Art products are available for purchase online and in stores such as Michael’s and Hobby Lobby. Prices range from $2- $8. Some paints are available in larger sizes such as gallons.
