Good Dog Coffee, They Roast Your Beans to Order!

Good Dog Coffee Micro Roasters, a small family owned business. We pride ourselves in providing the best coffee beans and the best customer service in the industry and help protect the environment the best way we can. We custom roast our organic and shade-grown coffee beans that come from Puerto Rico, Colombia, Nicaragua and Bolivia. Yes, you decide how you want us to process and roast your coffee beans. When you order your coffee beans, you’ll have several options for roasting and grinding levels for your coffee beans. In addition, we promise that you will get the freshest coffee, either whole coffee beans or ground coffee, because we never store any roasted coffee. We only roast-to-order, meaning that we will roast your organic shade grown coffee beans only after you place the order.

It doesn’t get any fresher than that! That is what attracted me to Good Dog Coffee ! Say What? They roast your coffee to order AND let me choose the grind level?  For a coffee lover that is an absolute beautiful thing.   Though I am known to drink any type of coffee, anywhere at anytime I still prefer a high quality coffee prepared the way I want it. What better way than to start from the very beginning!

I received the Bolivian you see in the picture to the right. These beans were produced under the shading canopy of native trees. Beans were de-pulped and washed using pure Andes glacier-melt water, sun-dried on wooden table tops and hand selected by “Palliris” (Aymara Indian women food graders).

The coffee in the left picture is Nicaraguan. This coffee is sustainable coffee, Rainforest Alliance certified, organically grown, bird friendly and shade grown, in the highlands of Nicaragua’s Matagalpa region.  You can actually visit the Selva Negra coffee plantation for a tour !

How amazing is that ?   You can absolutely taste the difference in freshness and quality.  I have never had coffee like either one of these.   I preferred the Bolivian, it was rich and smooth.  The other was a little bitter and strong. I am not an expert at describing coffee so it is hard for me to find the right words. I do know that I would drink either one of them ANY DAY over the usual store bought coffee !    I have never had coffee that came with its birthday labelled right on it.   They add a label to every bag that states who your roaster was, the day , the grind level AND the roast level.

Give the gift of coffee this holiday season or for any occasion,   Good Dog Coffee offers a REALLY COOL Unique feature…Custom Labels !   That is right, you can have your own labels printed and put on the bags.    What better gift than to give a coffee lover a bag of the freshest coffee ground the way they want at the time you order and custom labelled!   Read more about that here:  Custom labels.
