What We Thought

In the past we reviewed for Gramma in a Box and loved the entire concept. You can see that review here: Gramma in a Box Review

Nothing has changed with our love of this subscription box. First and foremost it saves me loads of time when trying to find something fun to do with our oldest. To me having one on one time with each of our boys is so important, but it is also hard with them being 3 1/2 years apart in age. Jack is now 5 and loves to bake and cook with me, so this is perfect.

This month the kit had a great ocean theme which was a lot of fun. The ideas started stirring in my head immediately that I could pair this box with our homeschooling lessons and make this all so much fun.

Jack and I sat down after dinner one night while Daddy & Willie had their bonding time. We wanted to make all 3 projects in one sitting as we did before. Jack was so proud of his creations that he was passing them out to everyone before we were done. He loved that these were things he could do with very little help from me, but we were still working together.

Literally the only thing I had to help him a lot with was melting the chocolate in the microwave which obviously if he was older he could do on his own as well.

We had a blast with these 3 creations and best of all everything was right in the box. I am that mom who always forgets something even with a shopping list for projects and I don’t have to worry about that anymore with Gramma being in charge!!

We have absolutely loved these boxes and the creativity that they bring out in Jack. He has been able to carry over what he is learning from these boxes into other areas of cooking and baking as well and for that I am thankful.
