Gratify Gluten Free Pretzel Snacks Product Review
We are hearing a lot lately about Gluten Free foods, so what exactly does Gluten Free mean? Â Gluten is a protein substance that is found in products like cereals and other foods that contain wheat. Â It basically the ingredient that gives a dough it’s elastic type consistency, well kind of like a glue. Â If you are familiar with Celiacs Disease then you know that those who have it need to maintain a Gluten Free diet. Others choose to skip out on foods that contain Gluten for dietary purposes.
Gratify Gluten Free Pretzel Snacks Product Review
Gratify has developed a delicious line of pretzel snacks that are certified Gluten Free.  Unlike some products that claim to be Gluten Free,  Gratify’s products are actually certified through the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO), a program of The Gluten Intolerance Group® (GIG).   What I like most about Gratify’s Gluten Free Pretzels is the texture.  They are very light, airy and crunchy. I have always enjoyed pretzels as a snack, but they can be very dry and thick.  My favorite are the sesame thins,  I love the flavor of toasted sesame.
My husband is not very open to trying new things and he really enjoyed these pretzels. Â He said that he prefers them to regular pretzels because they do not get stuck in his throat, Â I chuckled. Â Such an expert opinion (sarcasm intended) . Â I do understand what he means though. Â As I mentioned above, regular pretzels can be very dry and the texture and density of these from Gratify are completely different. taste is not compromised because gluten is not really an ingredient that would affect flavor, Â it more or less has an affect on the texture only. So if you have not tried a Gluten Free product because you were afraid it would taste different, do not let that scare you. The use of sea salt is a great choice, Â it gives the pretzels a wonderful salt flavor without being too much.

I had gluten free pretzels at a party and was very surprised that I liked them better than regular pretzels. They seemed to have more crunch and just a tad saltier (in a good way).
