He Calls Me Daughter in Theaters 3/17 & 3/18

Many thanks to He Calls Me Daughter for providing a sample of the product for this
review. Opinions are 100% my own.

HE CALLS ME DAUGHTER is for women who have felt unseen, unsupported, or unsure of their worth. Through intimate, first-person stories, viewers follow women as they begin to name the pain they’ve carried for years: father wound. Audiences are invited to reflect on their own story as they walk alongside these women on a journey toward healing. HE CALLS ME DAUGHTER is an invitation to experience the love of a Father who does not withdraw—One who offers peace, belonging, and
restoration.

What We Thought

I am usually not very drawn to a movie. I have a big issue with staying focused, or staying awake. This one pulled me in, not because I don’t have a great relationship with both of my parents, but because it shows that while we have an earthly Father we also have a Heavenly Father who loves us beyond measure.

I thought of so many Biblical references while watching He Calls Me Daughter and the absolute unending love that is shown to me. The grace, mercy and everything piled into one even when people of the world let us down.

The real stories were captivating. These women really poured their hearts out and told their real honest stories about their lives. I feel once they realized they had a forever Father regardless of what was happening here on earth their whole outlooks were able to change.

If you were wanting to find out what this is all about make sure that you get your tickets. This movie is only in theaters 3/17 and 3/18. It is well worth the ticket cost.

I know 2 days in a theater isn’t much, but if you feel this is a message you could benefit from, then make sure you grab a ticket and head to the theater this weekend. Maybe even grab a group of ladies and have friends to talk about everything afterwards.

I have a $10 Amazon Gift Card giveaway attached to this movie review so be sure to enter! It’s an easy one this time. Share with me a scripture that shows the love our Heavenly Father offers us. I will pick a winner on 3/23.

I am going to watch this movie with my family it looks so moving and important to see. I love this scripture that shows God’s love – “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16

1 John 3:1 (NIV): “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”
