Help Kids Learn Proper Handwashing while Playing a Game
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, keeping our families safe is a parent’s priority and is front and center in our minds. Never before has it been so critical to develop healthy handwashing habits in our children, yet it’s often difficult to get our kids to comply. That’s where Super Iris comes in!
We as parents need to make sure that our children know how to properly wash their hands and right now there is such a need for this resource. I love that we can play a game together as a family to learn these skills.
Educational game company, Atlas Mission in conjunction with the non-profit, Learning Yogi Foundation, has launched the FREE online game, Super Iris Beats Coronavirus to teach children around the world how to wash their hands effectively. In order to help stop the spread of COVID-19, this interactive game is based on the World Health Organization’s (WHO) handwashing recommendations.
I love that this not only is a game but there is a catchy song to match. Our oldest is 7 and the youngest is 3 so this blends right in for the age range for both.
We teamed up with Iris to use our “virus vision” and conquer those nasty coronavirus germs. This game was fun, easy to use and with just the click of a mouse we were on our way to learning proper handwashing habits that we can instill in our boys for the rest of their lives. This is a great add on homeschooling resource especially with the current times.
