Homeschooling with Crayola
I was sent the mentioned products in exchange for an honest review. The thoughts contained within this post are mine and may vary from the opinions of others.
Crayola is one of those brands that is absolutely timeless. They have been around for years and years and while I do use other art supplies while homeschooling our 4 year old, I do always find myself jumping right back into the Crayola products that I remember my own parents getting for me when I went back to school each year and even as I was older and also homeschooled.
Making the decision to homeschool is not something that my husband and I came to easily. We had SO many factors to weigh in and decisions to make. I knew that he was going back to work full time again for the first time since our baby was born, we were still operating our fishing lure business and of course I wanted to keep blogging. A full plate for sure for our little family, but I felt compelled to jump into schooling Jack and have found that in this process he is learning so much so fast.
As always I get together some of the greatest school supplies and work on a Back to School Guide. This year we were pleasantly surprised with a new line of Crayola products called Silly Scents. The scents are not over-powering and Jack has really enjoyed using them. (so have I) I love that the scented products are available in crayons, markers and colored pencils and also various options for amounts of each one. We got to try out different packs and honestly love them all.
We also got some of the more traditional Crayola products like markers, colored pencils and crayons. My personal favorite is the Super Tips markers. They came in a pack of 50 and I use them for my adult coloring. I find that they do not bleed through the lines like other brands and I get really vibrant colors in the process. They also work great for the Adult Color by Number books that I have gotten into recently as well.
If you are looking for quality school supplies whether you are homeschooling, sending your little ones off to public or private school then look no further than Crayola. The kids will thank you and you will be amazed at the amount of beautiful projects that can be created with them all while learning.
