What We Thought

A few years ago if you had told me I would decorate our bathroom for Christmas I would have said that you were totally crazy…. but here we are. It’s 2020 and some of us feel like our normal lives have been upside down since March. I found myself looking to bring as much happiness into this year as I possibly could without breaking the bank.

I love the trend of the red trucks. They remind me of my Granddad who I called Pop Pop. We lost him right before our youngest was born and the trend was just getting started. When I saw this shower curtain I knew it needed to be in our bathroom asap. Several days before seeing this I saw the bath mat in of all places our local Goodwill store for $1.99. I was already going to add that into the bathroom but had no other real direction on where this was going as far as decorating the bathroom for Christmas. I debated a small tree for the toilet tank but decided against that with little fingers and bulbs going down every possible drain and of course being flushed.

The shower curtain was perfect. No mess, nothing to be flushed and just the right amount of holiday cheer in the bathroom.

The price point of $49.95 is definitely affordable and I found that the material is high quality. It was easy to put up (even with the help of Maggie). By the way, Maggie was quite proud of herself as seen in the photo above for assisting in the Christmas cheer.

I was totally early in getting this up and had it in the bathroom on our wedding anniversary; November 11th. We have gotten so many compliments on it and I feel it was the absolute perfect touch. I added a wax melter from Tractor Supply that is a simple mason jar design and have all types of winter scents in there.
