Make Easter Bright with Crayola
We received the mentioned products in exchange for an honest review. The thoughts contained within this post are ours and may vary from the thoughts of others.
Easter is a time when many are consumed by the idea of chocolate bunnies, cakes, candies and other sweet treats. They are everywhere! This year we wanted to look at non-candy related Easter basket stuffers. Our boys like sweets as much as the rest of us, but they definitely do not like them enough to justify a basket full. Often they have candy left from one holiday to the next. I am still finding candy canes from Christmas in our pantry.
Crayola sent us some great products and even sent some for Willie who just turned 1. He was absolutely amazed by the My First product line. The special egg shaped crayons were a huge hit with him. His little hands may not be coordinated enough for regular crayons, but he was able to use these and make marks on paper and created his first real artwork. This Mama heart was beaming! Jack (who is almost 5) has enjoyed the My First Safety Scissors a lot as well.
The Color Wonder products have been a hit in our home for awhile, too. The Paint Brush Pens allowed for some real creativity without having a huge mess. This product line paired with brand new furniture in our house is a blessing. We have never had any stains or accidental spills thanks to Color Wonder! We also got to try out the Scented Stampers which are really cool! I admit to trying those out myself.
Last but certainly not least we tried out the Funny Faces kits which have to be one of the most unique products for children that we have tried out in awhile. The concept is really fun and involves using some technology which is always fun. With Funny Faces you color the faces in a great spiral book and in the meantime download an app to your phone or tablet (we easily found it in the Play Store) and once there you photograph the colored pictures and the next thing you know your own face is transformed into your own creation. Think SnapChat filters but in a more safe and controlled environment.
A guarantee in our home is that we are always using Crayola products on a day to day basis for our homeschool adventures and always look for ways to incorporate them into our everyday life. I love that they can be easily found in many popular stores or you can order them online from your favorite retailers. They are affordable, take a beating especially from boys like mine and are always worth the money that we spend on them.
