What We Thought

I am a person that has always struggled to get a restful sleep. I will literally lay in bed for hours thinking about things I need to do, things on the calendar, and this time of year even the amount of tasks I have to complete before Christmas is here. I am a procrastinator usually and this tends to catch up to me at about bed time when I realize that I have let too many things slide throughout the day and now I am behind with time running out to get things done. What happens then? I don’t sleep.

I have noticed that the Nidra Deep Rest Eye Mask allows me to unwind, especially when paired with a podcast or relaxing music. I have even started to listen to my devotionals while wearing this and find that sometimes I fall asleep well before intended. I know that it is a combination of the sounds, comfort and of course being able to block out what is going on around me because I can’t see what is going on. I am able to “escape” just long enough to get to sleep which is more than half of the battle.
