Nutrisystem Weight Loss Journey Week 6 #NSNation- Family Support
I lost another pound this week , which puts my total for 6 weeks at 12lbs!!! I am SO excited. I am even starting to feel a difference in my favorite pair of lounge pants. This past week I started using an aerobic step and toning bands. I love the step aerobic routine, it is quick, high energy and can be done in a small area. I purchased the step at a popular department store for $29 and it came with 2 risers (to adjust height) so this was actually a really good deal. This type will usually run around $50, the bands were $8. I have been using various free videos from online resources, inexpensive and done right at home!
I am still getting use to sneaking off into another room to workout, it is kind of embarrassing to me. Sad, isn’t it ? My husband and the girls have been awesome and have helped me with a lot over the last 6 weeks. I started noticing that no one was asking me if I wanted some of what they had and that hubby was not eating chocolate. That didn’t seem right, he would never give up chocolate. Come to find out he was eating peanut butter and celery with me, but chowing down on his chocolate when I was not paying attention or in the other room. Quite comical actually. I never asked them to change what they do, they just did it. They know how frustrated I have always been with my “will power” and how I have failed at eating healthier every time in the past. I love that they remembered these things and completely on their changed their ways to benefit me.
No one asks to go out to eat anymore, or to stop at McDonald’s on the way home from the movies. My youngest is not begging me to make cookies every weekend, she is still asking for her pancakes which is fine, Nutrisystem has supplied me with my own mix! Thank you! This whole process has actually had a positive effect on them as well. My oldest daughter is forever asking if she can do the program with me. I have to say No of course, because she does not have a pound to loose. She is just like any other teenager, always thinking they have to loose weight. She is the perfect size. Instead, she has cut back on the junk food and has made some changes on her own to be more healthy, not necessarily to loose any weight. My husband continues to pack on the pounds, which is ok he needed to gain a few. I will slow him down when it is time haha!
I am amazed at how thoughtful they have been and I thought it was important to mention.
