Wedding Favors– use a homemade plaster of paris recipe to create decorative sculptures. Cook/fire per recipe instructions, paint with chalkboard paint. Use chalk to decorate.

Homemade Gift Tags-  use chalkboard paint to cover labels, hand write names with chalk

Inside the cover of a lunchbox- paint a square, circle or even heart inside the cover of a lunchbox, write a message on it that will make your kiddo smile when they are surprised with it at lunchtime!

Border of a mirror-  find a mirror at a yard sale, thrift store or shop.  Tape off a 2-3 inch border on the mirror,  paint with chalkboard paint.  Decorate with chalk!

Menus-  you can make your own menu or message boards,  simply buy a piece of  luan ( usually pronounced  LOU-ON)  , these cut easily with a hand saw or fine blade on a skill saw.  Cut to shape and size , paint with chalkboard paint.  Write your menus or messages!

Wooden Blocks for Kids-  you can find plain wooden blocks in all different shapes and sizes at most craft stores. Paint one side with chalkboard paint,  let your child draw on them what they wish.   IDEA –You could use these are learning tools,  use 26 square blocks, one for each letter of the alphabet.  Lay them out on the floor,  write a few letters one on each block, let your child write the letters to fill in the blanks.

Wall Art –   paint a full focal wall in any room with chalkboard paint.  Draw your own designs, words,  use stencils etc

Custom Tins-  paint the cover of a tin, write a message on it,  fill it with homemade goodies and give as a gift.

Jar toppers-  paint canning jar lids and write the contents on them, when you need to re-use the jar wipe it off and start over!

Wine glass ID –  paint the bottom of the stem and base of a wine glass, write your guests name on it.  Clean once the party is over and use it again next time

Custom Clock –  Use a round craft wood from the craft store, add clock mechanism (really cheap and easy) ,  paint with chalkboard paint.  Draw your clock face in the style you want.
