About PurpleTrail

The PurpleTrail service is based on the idea that we are all different, and there is a designer within each of us. We know that our customers love to create their own custom invitations, stationery and gifts – we see the creative ideas every day. PurpleTrail provides you with inspiration and tools, and lets you do the rest! We have loaded the site with professional designs to choose from. You can easily pick one; add your details and you are done. Or, change it up a bit by moving things around and adding special touches. The possibilities are endless. However you go about designing your cards and invitations, we just want you love the end result.

Planning is life for me– I have to have a planner to be able to function between 2 work from home jobs, our 2 boys and of course my husband too. I use a planner to keep up with posts here on the blog, appointments for our whole family, planning fun days and of course life in general. Sometimes I even need a reminder of what day is trash day around here (it’s Wednesday for anyone who was curious).

What We Thought

This planner is AMAZING. I want to start with the cover. It is more than just a paper cover. There is literally a protective covering over the front to keep it more safe. If you could see my current planner you would think we have had war-like activity around here. I am not pleased with how it held up at all and I only used it for 12 months.

A must for me with any planner is a pocket. Many times throughout the year I receive cards, notes and other momentos from companies and I do keep them. They are important to me and mean a lot. I also keep cards and notes from family and friends as well.

Another big thing for those pockets are keeping up with contracts from different campaigns that I am a part of and also important billing information for taxes.

You guys get it; I use the planner for everything and maybe that isn’t a smart idea but it works for me.

The pages inside this planner are durable and I can’t wait for January 1st to start using it! I got this one done for hold for 2 years. Also there are bill reminders so that I can write out our monthly bills and make sure that I don’t accidentally forget any. There is nothing worse than that.

I love that with PurpleTrail I can personalize everything! The cover suited the motto of my life and I was able to add the blog name at the bottom. Some people would think that a blog is just a website, but for me it is a means of being able to express myself, share my thoughts with our readers and also I have 2 contributors who love the products they review as well. (Another thing for the planner is keeping track of what I am reviewing and what my 2 amazing writers are working on.)

I feel that a lot of love and attention went into the making of this planner and that it will serve me well in the next 2 years. I plan to update this post next year with a little photo editorial with how it has held up.

Right now if you head over to the PurpleTrail site there is a 15% off everything code: MERRY18 is the code! Head over and get a great deal on your next planner.
