About Saltwater Candle Co: Saltwater Candle Co. is located in a small mill town of West Point, VA, along the York River. All of our candles are hand poured in small batches to ensure the best quality, there fore there may be slight color variation. All scents are hand picked from essential oils and premium fragrance oils, and have been tested to ensure you are receiving top quality product.

What We Thought: Anyone who knows me knows that I love having a house that smells good. I am not a fan of odors at all and always have some sort of device going to make sure that there is a great smell floating through the air.

When I got the opportunity to review Saltwater Candle Co I was really excited. I got to review the Wax Melts which retail for a reasonable $2.50 each. The scents I got were Clean Cotton and Tobacco.

Both arrived right on time for us to have company this past weekend for our son’s third birthday party. I knew immediately I wanted to use them and see if we got any reaction, because when we review products often I sneak them into family events.

I used the Tobacco scent in our living room. Tobacco is described on the Saltwater Candle Co website as “a blend of creamy vanilla and dark brown sugar mixed with smoky tobacco and mahogany woods.” I typically would use this type of scent in the winter, but something compelled me to use it and I fell in love. I got several compliments on how great the living room smelled and I was hooked.

I used the Clean Cotton in our bathroom. I just have a simple plug in warmer in there that doesn’t take up a lot of space and 1 cube fit perfectly. This one is described as “the nostalgic smell of fresh linens dried on a fresh breezy summer day.” I am obsessed with laundry scents and this one really was a great scent that did remind me a lot of clean laundry. I often try products that are designed to smell this way and I am highly disappointed. Not so with the Saltwater Candle Co version.
