What We Thought

My husband is a hard one to shop for. He’s a blue collar guy who literally embraces the simple life, but this Father’s Day I wanted to treat him to something special and when I learned about Saturday Neon I knew this was the absolute perfect gift for him.

It arrived on a day that I was out on a trip, but I really made him open it at midnight when I got home. I couldn’t wait until Father’s Day and I knew our boys would be so amped up to see him open it and they had waited up for me.

He was literally shocked, which does not happen very often. I have never seen him so excited to add something to the wall and he went right to work putting it up (which by the way was super simple). He loves that it has a dimmer switch because this thing puts out some light! I love that it is affordable and also lets him embrace his love of a very west coast team out here in Virginia. There hasn’t been a day since this was on the wall that he hasn’t turned it on and the group text with his buddies have been really interesting since he likes to show this one off.

I love that this product arrived ready to use, with all of the screws and wall mounting stuff right in the package so an excited recipient can quickly get this installed without a trip to the hardware store or in our case running to the junk drawer to find a screw.

It’s such a rewarding feeling to get someone something they truly treasure, especially when that person is someone who works so incredibly hard for his family. I will have to work extra hard to top this gift, but I do have over a year.
