What We Thought

I am a big-time lover of good wine. I have to pick and choose carefully because there are so many wines I do not care for. When I find one I like I am really impressed and try to make sure that I take a note. I love a good wine festival, a good tasting with friends and most of all a relaxing evening at home with my husband enjoying a glass from a place we have been and enjoyed. I have always been a home body and love a nice quiet evening at home just enjoying time spent with a good book or a television show. What don’t I like? Spilling my wine everywhere and having stains, messes and ruined blankets (yes, I am a blanket person!)

Glass Slipper has come up with an idea that is an absolute must. A spill free addition to my favorite wine glass that prevents it from turning over. Guess what?! They also arrived in my absolute favorite colors and just in time for Vallentine’s Day! I am super impressed with the durability of the Glass Slipper and how easy they are to use as well. I just slip this on and head to my favorite house spot, my reclining couch.

We have been blessed to build a life we don’t want to escape from and for that I am always thankful. This Valentine’s Day we are focused on just staying home. We used to go to a restaurant, fight the crowds and somehow that just doesn’t seem important anymore. We have a freezer full of local beef, a pantry full of things I can prepare as side dishes and of course I will make a yummy special treat for dessert with my boys. My husband and I will focus on the things we truly love. Our family.

Once the kids head to bed I will certainly open a special bottle of wine and we will celebrate by ourselves and exchange cards and probable watch Netflix. I am totally content with this idea.
