About Teleties

In our quest for total well-being, it dawned on us that a key element was missing in our desire for stylish athleisure: a super cute, functional hair tie that stayed accessible on our wrists without looking so, well, hair tie-ish.

Our epiphany led us on a mission to create the perfect go-to hair accessory: an all-in-one hair tie that doubled as a stackable bracelet when it wasn’t “holding it together” in our hair. But they couldn’t just be aesthetically pleasing. These hair ties needed to be as capable and multitasking as the women wearing them. We believe that no girl or woman should have to deal with the hassle of flimsy hair ties that break on a whim and collect germs. We designed our waterproof TELETIES to stretch as far as you need them, with a strong, yet gentle grip that won’t damage your hair or cause headaches.

What We Thought

Headaches, soaking wet hair bands after swimming or showering, germs, knotted hair, kinked hair, etc… just a few things I experienced from traditional hair ties. Welcome to my life Teleties! I absolutely love these because they have kept me headache free and have also allowed me to keep my hair up in the messy mom bun that I have come to know myself by.

Teleties are so great. They are flexible yet hold their shape. I received 2 sizes and while I have used the smaller ones more often I love the large as well.

These are affordable and well worth the money because they last and I don’t have to worry about them snapping and leaving my already messy hair a disaster. The 3 pack of large is $9.99 and the small back which also has 3 is just $7.99. A little bit of an investment at first but these have already in just a few weeks outlasted many other hair ties that I have used in the past.

After trying these with some doubt at first I am 100% sold on Teleties and will more than likely switch to using these solely for my hair.

Our TELETIES founder, Lindsay, understands firsthand how important non-profit organizations like FORCE can be in providing resources and early detection. She was tested at a young age because her father carried the BRCA1 mutation and thankfully tested negative. Having never met her grandmother who passed away from breast cancer at the age of 40, Lindsay promised herself that she would do her part to educate others and bring awareness to the BRCA1 mutation. Partnering with such an impactful organization is important to Lindsay and gives proof to the TELETIES mission of upholding a resilient product while giving back to our community.
