Sharing Special Moments With The Family & Welch’s
When it comes to my family and our schedules, it can be hard to connect and find time to spend together. My oldest daughter works 3 or 4 days of the week after school and then on the weekends. My youngest daughter has various after school activities that she participates in and so we rarely see much of each other. Regardless of everyone’s schedule, I make sure we can have dinner together each night. This usually means eating at 4pm instead of 6, but it is well worth it. I love to cook and have always been big on making full meals that take more than 5 minutes to eat because that is where we spend most of our time together. This is my little trick to get everyone together daily regardless of what we may have going on, shhh don’t tell.
Most recent favorite “table moment” , was when we all went camping at a place where you could dig your own clams, my dad’s favorite. It is something he had never done before so it was pretty special.
Here he is with the biggest “catch” of the day!
