Recently we got this beautiful amaryllis candle holder centerpiece to review and let me tell you guys first off I had never seen an artificial amaryllis. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I did know this, I couldn’t kill it if it wasn’t real. When this arrived it was packaged wonderfully to prevent any damage and I didn’t need to rearrange anything. The only thing I did was buy a candle (and actually  I didn’t even have to buy that, it was a gift for my birthday) so we were ready to go right away.

The base is made from a beautiful metal and holds a brilliant red vase style candle holder. The artificial flowers are so elegant and do not look artificial at all and the best thing is this is a no-care piece that I know I can put away and enjoy for years to come.

As far as putting this away for storage I believe I am going to put it in a pillowcase. Hear me out… sitting for a year almost before it comes out again after the holidays it could get dusty, so I want to try and prevent that as much as possible. I know that next year this is going to look as good as new.

We have put more focus on artificial flowers and other things in our home since having children. I wasn’t the best at keeping things alive pre-kid but now I am definitely not and I like to have the idea of fresh flowers and things around our home.

Growing up we always had an artificial Christmas tree and recently I even discovered an amazing site that does custom artificial trees and can get away from the traditional looking Christmas tree or even add a tree to decorate within our home that can be multi-holiday. Yes, I have gotten a little out of hand these days with decorating, but I do it in the name of my kids always remembering having an awesome time every day.
