I received two pairs of slippers from Plow & Hearth made by Acorn.  These slippers are amazing, for sure the best pair I have ever owned.   The Acorn Fleece Lined Polar Moc   features a heavy duty non slip, gripped sole and 100% fleece over memory foam with a suede trim.  The micro-fleece wicks away moisture and though they are not waterproof, they will repel some moisture.

There are many things I like about these. The most important being the sole. I am the type of person who hates wearing shoes, but I live in Maine and we lose the sandal weather too fast.  I am always looking for a comfortable , easy to slip on alternative that will make it quick for me to go in and out of the house without sitting down and tying my shoes. Lazy? No, just busy and I can not see taking all of that time when I am in and out so much.

 I work from home and though I get dressed for the day, I stay in my slippers. We do not wear shoes in the house and the floors are hardwood so these make for great warmth and comfort. The durability amazes me, I have worn these for over a month now and I see hardly any sign of wear.The sole is not even worn down. I have had these on outside in the driveway , around the yard walking the dog, across the gravel rocks and occasionally driving my daughter to her friends house. They have even been washed in the washing machine.  The picture above shows them when I first received them and the picture below was taken just before writing this.

Aside from the great sole, there is a 2 inch suede trim along the edge that adds to the ruggedness of the slipper, making it even more shoe like. The memory foam and fleece make the Acorn Polar Moc slippers extremely soft, cushy, comfortable and warm.
