In Sony Pictures Animation’s The Star, a small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams. On his journey, he teams up with Ruth, a loveable sheep who has lost her flock and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become unlikely heroes in the greatest story ever told – the first Christmas.

Our family literally can not wait to enjoy this movie for our next movie night! We also love all of the bonus features that are coming with the purchase of this amazing DVD. There is a family Bible study program included called Faith All Year Round Children’s Sermon with Devon Franklin Also included on the website are so many interactive ideas to include with your viewing party as well as printables. We are really excited to share this with our 4 1/2 year old son and know this will be a treat for our entire family.

There are so many options with this movie including sharing with youth groups within your church family. Picture a fun movie night with snacks, activities and a fun family movie with a great story.

We have been anxiously awaiting the release of this movie since its theater arrival in November of 2017 and now the time has come to enjoy it in your own home!
