What We Thought
Upon opening this the first thing I noticed was the extremely vibrant red color. I am usually not a fan of red, but this just pops. It is stunning. The next thing was the quality of the fabric. This cotton tablecloth is a must this Valentine’s Day as so many people are ditching the idea of heavily priced restaurants packed with strangers and settling down at home where things are familiar and surrounded by your loved ones.
Personally, this year I am planning a dinner at home but also a social with my parents. I am loving the idea of being close to those we love in the safe place that we love most- our home. This opportunity gives us the ability to cook what we want, converse how we want and most of all celebrate the spirit of Valentine’s Day and our beliefs that we celebrate based on the Scripture “we love because He first loved us.” -John 4:19.
I am planning to have finger foods, cocktails, mocktails and other fun things at our social but the actual evening of Valentine’s Day I am planning a pasta-based dinner with heart shaped noodles. I can’t wait for my boys to see this and to celebrate at a fully set table. The Decor Mantra tablecloth will be the talk of both events I am sure.
What are your plans for Valentine’s Day? We used to go out, but after seeing the price hikes and especially the cost of flowers and candy around this season we have opted for a much slower and laid back approach this year. Much like the theme that we set for our family for 2025. We will be celebrating most holidays right here in the comforts of our own 4 walls with small meaningful gestures for each other.
