What We Thought

It is hard to pick a term to describe this year as we were introduced to so many new terms over the course of the last few months. One that was new to some but not so much to us was virtual learning. This year more and more people were forced to make a chance between the risks of a virus or keeping their kids at home to learn. We were entering our 4th year of homeschooling. First year of preschool for the youngest and the oldest was beginning the 2nd grade.

While our choice to homeschool was one that took years to make many only had weeks. Products popped up on the market to make the decision easier while many online programs offered free use and trials to see what worked for each family. We continued to do what worked best for us.

In the course of our decisions I was approached by VariDesk who offered us this amazing Laptop 30 to review and add to our 2020 Holiday Gift Guide. While we do a lot of our work online I still love to see the boys sit down and color and express themselves without the digital world.

This adjustable desk is small enough when collapsed that we literally scoot it under our couch and it isn’t seen until we use it again. Both boys can add their coloring pages and share space as seen in the photo above and no one argues over needing more room. I love that later in the day I can pull this out and turn my side table into a fully operational desk with my laptop.

A truly versatile gift that needs to be in just about every home or office in the coming year. We have enjoyed this so much and really wonder what we did before this was in our home.

FYI both boys tablets fit here as well so they can sit on the floor and do their homework surrounded by their pets and toys without having to move to another area.

While I do know this has been advertised as a laptop stand the uses are endless and we are finding new uses every single day.
