Wazoo Survival Gear Cache Belt
|Wazoo is going straight to the people to round up funds for an innovative new belt system that’s the ultimate adventure accessory.
Wazoo Survival Gear is committed to saving lives through socially driven products born from the needs of their customers and fans. Their specialty lies in creating comfortable, everyday accessories that prepare people for the worst so they don’t have to give it a second thought. Their latest product, the Cache Belt, is their streamlined solution for securing necessities when on-the-go. It’s been specially designed with a large top-loading hidden pocket that allows it to function as a money belt, utility belt, travel kit, and even survival kit.
The Cache Belt:
· keeps cash and keys securely in place from the office to the hiking trail;
· hides passport copies, jewelry, and currency away from prying eyes when traveling;
· provides a safe space to stash the latest mini gadgets; and
· is available in 3 choices: Minimalist (just the belt), Essentials (the belt and a few emergency essentials), and Adventure (the belt and a fully stocked survival kit).
From the Rocky Mountains to the cobblestone streets of Italy, the Cache Belt has been tested across all terrains to offer optimal functionality without compromising on style. It features a low profile, business casual look while being sturdy and durable enough for every outdoor adventure.
The Kickstarter campaign will run from September 20-November 4 with the ultimate goal of exceeding their $7500 baseline, enabling them to reach their stretch goals and propel them into retailers eager to offer their clientele the next wave in active accessories. Backers will receive a Cache Belt with their pledge, as well as access to other innovative products including the Cache Cap, a custom hat with 6 hidden pockets, and Burnable Business Cards.
Wazoo Survival Gear was launched in 2011 by Dustin Hogard, an outdoor adventure guide, and Nick Blackman, an aerospace engineer, with the dream of combining their joint passions into tangible products. Since then they’ve collaborated with search and rescue, military, NASA engineers, and the survival community in order to create innovative wearable survival kits. Their mission is to save lives through high quality, practical survival kits as well as by donating a portion of their profits to funding non-profit Search And Rescue (SAR) organizations. Their products have been shipped to over 90 countries, equipping people from all backgrounds for all environments.
