About Woman Up Box

Woman Up Box is a monthly gift that you give to yourself full of blissful products to treat your mind, body, soul and senses. Each month brings a themed box of goodies that will include handmade and small batch spa, beauty and bath items, gourmet treats, fun accessories and jewelry, and creative home and lifestyle products.  What makes our box even more special is that we focus on lifting up women. We work to discover new woman run companies each month to introduce you to that are creating fabulous products that you’ll love and want to share. We promote women helping women to succeed not only by sourcing all of our products from women, we also include a monthly “Lift Up” card in each box with ideas on how to give another woman in your life a boost and we donate 10% of our proceeds to a woman-focused charity each month. We believe in the power of women supporting women. We will all be stronger if we work together. 

What We Thought

I love subscription boxes, but what I love more are those with a point or cause. These days women are often beaten up by their peers, shamed by those on social media and in general never feel adequate because we are always being compared to the next woman who may do something a tiny bit better, or seem like she has it all together while we are running around with an unlimited riders pass on the hot mess express.

The Woman Up Box made me immediately feel empowered and uplifted. I felt important looking through each item and found each thing had a great purpose for me. Pictured above is the entire August 2017 box. The theme was “Get the Party Started” and each item could be used to host a great party for all of your girlfriends.

I may not touch on every product individually, but they are each amazing in their own. If you check out our Facebook page you will find that I did my very first unboxing video for this and boy was that fun! I was super nervous at first, but found with a box that held this many surprises I was right at home.

This box left me feeling that everything inside had been picked just for me, which is a great feeling when you are not really sure what to expect from a subscription box. There were absolutely no shortcuts and everything was full size. No samples.

Pink flamingo coasters with matching straws paired perfectly with the “Im so happy it’s happy hour” cocktail recipe book. What better way to get a party started than some delicious homemade cocktails?! The book is also hilarious. If you don’t believe me check it out yourself. Less than $10 and the perfect addition to this already amazing box.

There was a bag of mixed nuts that I haven’t opened yet, but my husband was itching to steal right out of the box. I gave him a friendly reminder that this was a WOMAN UP BOX and I may or may not share HA!

The bracelet I pictured above matches so many of my outfits and can be found on Etsy by visiting DesignsbyKatieLeigh. It is only $15 and I will be wearing it constantly, even into fall and winter.

Last but certainly not least, end a long and hard day of being a woman by using the Moon Valley Organics Peppermint Foot Rub. It smells so fresh, feels great being applied and didn’t make my feet feel all greasy like many other products.

If you are looking to feel more empowered, I highly suggest buying a few months of Woman Up Box, if you really want to pamper yourself get the whole year! You will not regret it!
