Build A Track City Ride Review
I received the mentioned products from Mukikim in exchange for an honest review. The thoughts and opinions contained within thisreview are mine and may vary from the opinions of others.
About Build A Track City Ride: This great line of product encourages fine motor skills, logic & interaction. A wildly exciting track loaded with fun possibilities. Pieces fit together easily. No tools are required.
What We Thought: When this product arrived it was the first review product to show up here in awhile simply because life got crazy and I had not had the time to interact with companies in exchange for reviews, but Jack remembered the drill. The usual squealing “mama a present” started up and he wanted to dig right in.
My husband Patrick was home and I was in the middle of making lunch, so Daddy duty kicked into high gear and they opened this up together hence no unboxing or original packaging photography here, but let me tell you the box is cute and has a handle for easy carrying when (and if) you ever decide to put it away for storage.
I was making one of Jack’s most favorite lunches and once he saw this awesome City Ride set he changed his mind about eating. For the rest of the afternoon his eyes were set on this track. He quickly realized that other things from his train sets worked with this as well and he made this into an even bigger city. Here is a picture of Jack playing but note that the blue and red pieces did not come with the Build A Track City Ride.
Now I will add that the Build A Track City Ride does come with some signage for the track, but we opted to not set those up because they were a little on the small side and the box did say for 3 and over. I do not think that Jack would have put them into his mouth, but I would have rather waged on the side of caution than take a risk. I say each parent knows their own child and knows what they can and can’t handle.
This track was easy to put together and comes with pieces that can be used to lock the pieces together which was nice considering Jack was carrying this all over our living room setting it up in different locations.
Some other things I love about this set includes:
SUV Truck is motorized and comes with batteries (MAJOR mom points here!!)
It is lightweight so that Jack can easily move the whole track by himself at one time.
Simple to put together, even I could do it and that is saying something!!
Jack is already planning his next Build A Track purchase since there are other sets available including: Shuttle Bus, The Race & Super Ride. These Build A Track sets are relatively inexpensive as well but were awarded Top Toy of the Year by Creative Child Magazine in 2015.
Be sure to get your own Build A Track City Ride for just $19.99 and take advantage of the limited time free shipping on all purchases. These would make awesome birthday gifts for that special motor loving child in your life!!
