You can easily weigh out your portion of cooked grilled chicken before adding it to a salad, sliced deli meats for sandwiches and even scoops of pasta salad, ice cream , anything ! It has really helped me to re-size my portions. I made it a habit to fill a certain container and use that for things such as American Chop Suey. I love the ease of use with this scale. Just simply turn it on , weigh your container use the Tare Feature and then weight your food item. The scale will weight up to 11lbs so there is very little that you can not use with it !
