Signs, Banners, Cards And More – BuildASign Product Review
I received the product pictured above, mentioned below, free for the purpose of this review. My opinions are always honest and based on my own personal experience with the products I review.Â
I was recently approached by a company called BuildASign about writing a product review for them. Â At first, I was a bit hesitant because I was trying to figure out what I could possibly review from their site that we would need or use. Â My first thought was, signs? Well we do not need signs or banners, so hmm. Â I decided to consider it and browse the site, immediately I noticed that they offer a lot more than just signs and banners. Â They also have business cards, decals, magnetics, window clings, refrigerator magnets, sandwich boards and SO much more. Â I remember thinking, wow that is so much more than I thought. Â The best thing about it, Â almost anything can be custom or personalized.
It did not take long for me to have a “lightbulb” moment. Â See, a few months ago we purchased baby chicks and built a chicken coop. Â We ended up having more hens than we expected, which is perfectly fine, we plan on selling eggs. Â Insert lightbulb here. Â I will create our “fresh eggs” sign! Â Â I started looking and instantly knew I wanted the street sign. Â Yes, they sell street signs both with pre-determined sayings AND create-your-own. Perfect!
The street signs are offered in a few different sizes which is great. Â I chose the 6 x 18 inch size, which is about $25. Â That is a really good price. Â I have seen these go for much more than that. Â Next, Â the customization process. Â It was SO simple. Â If you can use the computer, you can make your own sign. Â It is as simple as walking through following the steps. I always love when websites that offer custom/personalized products offer you a lot of choices. BuildASign certainly does!
There are a ton of text fonts and clip art to choose from, Â you can also upload your own pictures and clip art. Â The design builder is very user friendly and makes it easy for you to figure out on your own. Â You can resize, move and even save your design if you need to come back to it later. Â The street signs also have the option to be one sided or double sided. Â I chose double sided because we will be hanging out sign at the road and wish for people coming from both ways to be able to see it. Â They also offer different hangers and stakes to hang your sign!

It was so fun and easy,  plus I get to say that  I made it !  Everyone loves the sign!
Once I completed my design, I went through a basic checkout process and was made aware that my design would be shipped when it was finished, usually within 2 weeks.  I received  my sign within 2 weeks.  I am very satisfied with the whole process and would absolutely use them again.

Awesome! I love the eggs sign, would look great in my old country style kitchen. I would love to get a ‘no soliciting’ sign. I have people knocking on my door several times a week, it get annoying. They are usually the home improvement companies trying to get me to lock in an estimate for an upgrade of many sorts and these people are pushy and don’t take no for an answer. “Come on if you don’t set an appointment, I won’t get credit.” So I just need to slap up a sign.
I see some really good ones. Here I love this one: No Trespassers Violators will be shot, survivors will be shot again!
Ok that’s overkill. But it sure is funny.
