This month I received both March and Aprils box. They both have some awesome products that I can’t wait to share with you!
The March Box included the following:
Jane’s Pick All-Natural Soap– Made from all-natural blend infused with herbs and flowers, these pretty soaps are handmade, so each bar has a unique pattern and relaxing scent.
I wasn’t too fond of the scent of the soap. It smelled kind of like pinetrees. It lathers up really well though and leaves your hands feeling super soft.
Retail:$8.00 for 5oz.
Tree Hut Shea Body Butter– Extra thick and paraben free, this lotion deep conditions your skin with cocoa and organic shea butter and provides natural anti-aging properties.
This body butter smells good enough to eat. It has a coconut lime scent. Yum! It was very greasy but did leave my skin feeling soft.
Retail: $7.49 for 7oz
Bellapierre Cosmetics Makeup Base– This base serves as concealer, illuminator, and eyeshadow primer.
I can’t put into words how much I love this product. I have really big pores and redness around my nose. This makeup base completely covered them both up and it only took a small amount. I loved how light it felt under my foundation and the fact that it stayed on all day.
Retail: $18.99 for .29oz (It is expensive for such a small product. But if you have problem skin, it is definitely worth it)
H2O Plus Hands & Nail Cream– Provent to soften even the roughest hands. It restores your skin with silk protein, Vitamin E and marine botanicals.
I’ve mentioned before that I have extremely dry skin. It’s hard for me to find lotions that actually work for me. This Hand & Nail Cream is one of the few that work. It goes on smooth and non greasy. It makes your skin feel so soft! I also tend to get a lot of hang nails from my hands being so dry. I’ve been using this product for a week and it’s amazing how much better my cuticles look!
Retail: $15.00 for 6oz.
Swissco Dual-Sided Facial Pad- Achieving softer skin and smaller pores is as easy as exfoliating a few times a week!
I had one of these during my teenage years and it worked great for helping to clear up my acne! I use one currently about 1-2 times a week and it really helps to keep my face free of dead skin, and I very rarely have a break out!
Retail: $2.00 for One size.
The April box included the following:
BH Cosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow Palette– Ideal for your favorite clutch, this little palette is all you need for touchups and creating a soft, romantic eye on the fly.
The colors on my palette were Hollywood, which was a bright purple, San Francisco, which was a shimmery dark brown and Malibu, which was a shimmery gold. The only color that I tried was San Francisco. I loved it. It went on smooth and lasted throughout the day. It would be perfect for work or for date night.
Retail:$18.95 for 16 eyeshadows/4 face powders
Nicka K New York Hydro Lipstick– This hydrating and paraben-free lipstick feels light but delivers luscious, full-bodied color that lasts through your first cup of coffee, afternoon snack and even a kiss.
I don’t wear lipstick. But, I did try this on. If you like bright red lips you would love this. It is long lasting and doesn’t feel caked on like I remember lipstick feeling in the past.
Retail:$4.99 for .12oz.
Blum Naturals All Purpose Cleansing Wipes– Not only are these cleansing wipes infused with aloe vera but they are also hypo-alergenic, paraben free, and not tested on animals.
I have a 5 year old who loves to make a mess so I am constantly carrying wet wipes in my purse. I love that you can hook these on your keyring, purse, diaper bag, etc. It is so convenient. They have really came in handy when we were out in public and needed a wipe! I love that they stay so moist in the container as well and have a citrus scent! I would highly recommend these to those of you with children!
Retail: $2.49 for 30 wipes (Well worth the money in my opinion)
Jergens Natural Glow-3 Days to Glow Moisturizer– Kiss winter goodbye and give yourself a subtle tan that’s easy to apply and doesn’t leave streaks!
The lotion that was in my box was for medium to tan skin. And well, I am white as a ghost. So, I didn’t use it. But I have used this before in the past and it did give me a natural looking tan without having to expose myself to the harmful rays of a tanning bed!
Retail: $9.99 for 4oz.
Bonne Bell Lip Definer– Perfect for a precise pout, this handy liner keeps lipstick from feathering and makes for a lovely natural look when paired with a clear gloss.
I am not really a fan of lip liner or lipstick so I didn’t use this. However, it is a really pretty color (Luscious Lilac) and I think I may try it with some clear gloss next time I get dressed up!
Retail: $3.95 for One size.
What we thought:
I was very pleased with both of the boxes I received. They both had some great products in them that I would recommend to family and friends.
The subscription price to Beauty Box is $12.00 a month. Which I think is an extremely reasonable price seeing as how the products you get cost more than that!
