What We Thought: Classic, a word that says it all. This super sweet doll is just as amazing now as it was when I was a child. If you read my last post you will know the story of my first Cabbage Patch Kid and will know how special his brand is to me.
In the course of about 10 days I have had 4 different kids play with this doll (and the Labradoodle Adoptimal Dog in my previous review) and they have all had differing opinions. The opinions are all great, just looking at the aspects of life and the age ranges. Some wanted to just be a Mom to the doll and not worry with the dog, but the majority (and myself) wanted to know what this magic key did for the super sweet Jo-Jo dog that we have adopted.
I admit to being the first person to put the key into the locket with the dog. I LOVED the flashing light and the heart beat sound. It was so cute. Our son managed to figure out the key right away because it is easy to use, so this product can definitely be used on a varying age range (the kids here were 2-8).
I want to talk about this sweet doll some too. Her name is Morgan Deanna and she is as classic as they come. Her dress reminds me of a vintage pattern and she comes with a cute hair style and the most adorable glasses. She also has the mentioned key and a cute little bracelet that coordinates with everything, including her shoes.
If you follow my blog you know that I am really big on unplugging and toys like this help with satisfying my need as a Mom to get kids unplugged. We only have 1 son, but the kids who visit here know that we have a lot of toys that are non-technology. Now, please do not think I am anti-technology. I mean really, I work online every single day, but there comes a time in the day that it is time to unplug everything and do something mindful, something that requires imagination.
Here is Morgan with our own adopted Jo-Jo Adoptimal. These 2 are so cute together and really bring a new life to the toy selection in our home. These make great gifts for any child and can be found at most major online and brick and mortar retailers.
