You may have heard of PicMonkey. It is a free online photo editing program that has replaced a lot of programs like Photoshop and Picnik. By replaced I don’t mean those programs are no longer available, I just mean people are starting to prefer PicMonkey. It is free, easy to use and can do some really cool things! In this article you will learn how to edit images using PicMonkey plus tips and tricks. Like using the Blush Boost feature to lighten up the background of an image without distorting it.

First, if you have not checked out PicMonkey, click here take a quick peek and come right back. Ok, done? What did you see? A simple screen that offers EDIT A PHOTO & CREATE A COLLAGE. Basic. Simple. The best part of PicMonkey is that instructions are easy to read and follow. Chances are you will not get overwhelmed by all the options and features. I suggest uploading an image and going through ALL of the features from start to finish to get familiar with what they are and what they do.

I have been able to take basic (crappy) photos and turn them into something that looks like it came from a professional photographer. It is amazing. There is a paid option, but trust me there are so many cool features in the free version that you do not need it.
