I received the following items in exchange for an honest review. The opinions contained within this post are mine and may vary from the opinions of others.
About Kigurumi Shop-
“Kigurumi” comes from a combination of two Japanese words: kiru(“to wear”) and nuigurumi (“stuffed toy”). Traditionally, it referred specifically to the performers wearing the costume, but the word has since grown to include the costumes themselves. In Japan, kigurumi costumes are worn as a way to break the conventions of traditional dress… or just as comfy pajamas!
What We Thought-
Never in a million years would I have imagined that we would be spending July 4th, 2016 at home with rain pouring and a need for suits made from fleece, but this year it has happened.
We woke this morning feeling chilled from leaving the windows open. Everything outside was soaking wet, rain was pouring and Jack said he was cold. We had been waiting for the perfect day to review these Kigurumi Shop products and boy are they comfy!
Why We Love Them
Kigurumi Shop has an awesome selection of these great outfits for lounging. We have had more laughs at these outfits than anything we have reviewed in a very long time. Jack has been running around pretending to be Mickey Mouse all day and I was able to enjoy some lounge time this morning while not freezing.
The Hello Kitty Kigurumi is just what the doctor ordered for me. It is light weight, but yet warm. I love that it has a pocket to keep things in like my cell phone and while I snuggled up on the couch today with a nice warm drink I felt so relaxed listening to the rain that I could have fallen asleep. The Hello Kitty Kigurumi retails for $69.99.
Jack looked ADORABLE in his Mickey Mouse Kigurumi which retails for $59.99. He seems to be comfortable while playing in it, loves the hood feature and has been all around having an awesome time. He says he loves being Mickey Mouse and I have a feeling this outfit is going to be a staple in his wardrobe on the days when it isn’t too hot.
Kigurumi outfits are machine washable which is great for kids and adults who want to wear and not have to worry about taking them to the dry cleaners constantly.
