About Old Barn Rescue: This business adventure began in 2003 when my dad told me he needed to tear down the barn from my childhood farm. My friend, Adonna, and I couldn’t stand the thought of all that beautiful, weathered, 120-year-old wood going to the landfill or burn pile.  We gathered some of the wood, collected a stash of old “junk”, started creating, and Old Barn Rescue Company was born.

What We Thought: Personalizing my home is something that is very important to me. I love making our house an absolute haven and a place that we feel the most relaxed. For me accomplishing this haven means having personal items, lots of photos and vinyl decals in almost every room.

Old Barn Rescue is a company after my own heart. When I got the opportunity to work with them hand in hand in having something made for our home I was super excited! Their selection of vinal decals is great.

This decal went right above our side entry door. This is the door that is used most by not only us, but our guests. I love this saying because the sentiment is just how we want to portray our home, a place where people can enjoy the company of one another.

This image, as you can imagine, is in my kitchen. This brought out the Southern Belle in me and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it on the Old Barn Rescue website.

Lets talk about how easy these vinyl decals were to place on our walls. We do have pretty newly painted walls, especially in the kitchen so this helps a lot with the placement of the decals. These were more than sticky enough to go right up.

I did use a special tool that I already had here at home to help spread the paper our evenly to make sure everything was sticking properly.

I will say that the vinyl decal is still fresh looking after several weeks, we have had no peeling and there was no damage to the walls when adhering the decals unlike some others that we have had up in the past.

Old Barn Rescue is a go-to place to get decals for every single room in your home and you will not be sorry with any selection that you make. They also have a great selection of reclaimed wood products that would make any home welcoming and charming.
