Get Into Character with Heat Holders
I received the mentioned products from Heat Holders in exchange for an honest review. The thoughts contained within this post are mine and may vary from the opinions of others.
About Heat Holders
Developing Heat Holders® took two years of hard work, dozens of experiments and a complete redesign of machinery. Eventually, we found the answer: a three-stage manufacturing process incorporating a high-quality acrylic yarn mix with an incredibly soft, cashmere-like feel, a special long looped pile and finally an intense brushing process. The key to insulation is to trap as much warm air as close to the skin as possible, and that’s what Heat Holders® do better than any other sock in the world.
The Heat Holders® process was, and still is, absolutely unique. It gives our socks the best thermal properties available, with a tog rating of 2.34. That’s far warmer than heavy walking socks, nearly three times as warm as standard thermal socks and seven times warmer than basic cotton socks.
What We Thought
It has been unseasonably cool here for weeks. Granted we have had a warm day here and there, I do not know the last time I put on shorts. Today we are draining our pool and I even had the heat on this morning for awhile. Yes, it’s that cold!
Jack got several pairs of character Heat Holders socks and this Mama even got a pair. In the past we have reviewed several products from Heat Holders and they always hold up their end of the bargain. Warmth even on the coldest of days.
Upon arrival of these socks I knew immediately that they will make excellent stocking stuffers, which is why I am including them in our 2017 Holiday Gift Guide. These socks are absolutely perfect in every way.
The character patterns make it hard to choose a favorite. I know that I adore my pair of Peanuts character socks while Jack is drawn to all of them. Can’t go wrong in the land of boy with Spiderman, Minions and Star Wars. He has worn each pair and every time always comments on how warm his feet are or how he doesn’t need to use a blanket to keep his toes warm while wearing them. One night we even caught him sleeping in them. Another perk of these socks is that they have non-slip grippers on the bottoms also matching the character theme that prevent falling. Jack often gets ahead of himself in the house and with wooden floors this leads to a lot of slipping, sliding and falling. These socks help slow him down a little and for that I am thankful.
Having amazing products like this make Winter a little more tolerable. It is not my favorite time of year, but being able to stay warm is a major perk.
While I am not ready for every single day to be cold and I may be waiting for Indian Summer well before Summer 2017 is over, these Heat Holders socks are around to stay in our home. I may even have to tell Santa to get me a few extra pairs!
